From Bitcoin Pioneer to Blockchain Educator to Risk Consultant

I've been in the blockchain space since 2011—back when Bitcoin was still a curiosity and "blockchain for enterprise" wasn't even a concept. Over the past 13 years, I've watched this technology evolve from monetary experiment to enterprise buzzword, and I've learned to spot the difference between genuine innovation and expensive mistakes.

My Journey

Early Days (2011-2016)
Started as a Bitcoin enthusiast, learning the technology from first principles. While running Candyland Art Space in Melbourne, I kept a keen eye on the blockchain landscape making many mistakes falling for the overhyped promises of the alt coin explosion.

Educational Leadership (2021-2025)
As Head of Educational Content at BSV Association, I developed and delivered blockchain education programs across the globe:

  • Trained 100+ government officials including regulators from Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), and Department of Science and Technology (DOST)
  • Developed curriculum for university programs including Masters of IT at University of Asia and Technology
  • Presented at London Blockchain Conference 2023 and 2024
  • Created educational frameworks that helped thousands understand blockchain's real capabilities

Current Focus (2025-Present)
